Benchmark—Gospel Essentials The Christian faith is the upon a foundation of key beliefs, known as the gospel essentials. They surround The nature of God, as a loving and triune being, being the flawed nature of humanity, the divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ and the concept of restoration in faith in Him. The Christian worldview is shaped by these beliefs and great implications, for the way believers perceived themselves, others in the world around them. understanding these core principles is crucial to comprehending the Christian world views, and it’s implications for believers Gospel Essential Beliefs Nature of God The Triune God is a unique concept that describes God as a single divine being existing in three distinct persons The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. This is also known as the Holy Trinity. The train God is characterized by unity and diversity. The three persons are co- equal and coeternal, sharing the same divine essence for maintaining distinct roles, and the plan of salvation. This unity and diversity reflects a deeper aspect of God. God is also described as omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, he is all powerful, having control over all creation he is all knowing, possessing infinity, wisdom, and understanding God is everywhere at once transcending time and space, which emphasizes his omnipresence. Creation, as described in the Bible is the fundamental concept and understanding the Holy Trinity. God is seen as the creator of the universe and all living beings responsible for bringing all of existence into the world. Nature of Humanity 2
Human nature is often seen as a complex, blend of both divine creation and inherit fallenness. Christians believe that humans are created in the image of God, which emphasizes the inherited dignity, moral responsibility and capacity for a relationship with God however, human nature is also apparent by the concept of original sin that steams from Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden, leading to the state of separation from God. The human purpose is to know love and serve God. Christians find their purpose in a relationship with God, seeking to fulfill his will and participate in his redemptive plan for humanity. Purpose involves loving one’s neighbors, and being good humans of creation. The root cause of human problems is sin. Sin is viewed as a rebellion against God’s will, leading to moral and spiritual separations from Him. This separation results and suffering, moral brokenness, and in the various challenges that humans face. Nature of Jesus Christian regard Jesus as the son of God, the second person of the Holy Trinity and fully divine. He is also seen as fully human having taken on human form to save humanity. This dual nature known as the hypostatic union is a fundamental aspect of Jesus is identity. Jesus is kingdom purpose, according to Christian teachings, was to establish The Kingdom of God on earth, which involved, proclaiming the good news, teaching, moral and spirit truth, and demonstrating God‘s love and mercy, his ultimate purpose was to offer salvation to humanity through his sacrificial death and resurrection. The identity and work of Jesus are profoundly significant for the Christian worldview his life death and resurrections are central to Christian theology. They provide the meeting for salvation, the forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life. Additionally, Jesus’s Teaching on Love, forgiveness and ethical conduct shape, the moral framework of Christian ethics and guide the behavior and beliefs of Christians. 3

Restoration The solution to human problems lies in salvation to Jesus Christ. Repentance involves a change of heart and a willingness to seek God. Guidance follow his ways rather than their own. Christian Foundations The concept of the gospel essentials include the nature of God the nature humanity. The nature of Jesus and restoration are essential to Christian world fields. The presence of different interpretations and denominations within Christianity can also be confusing, to disagreements and divisions among believers some find it challenging to reunite. Christian believes with scientific theories or historical event, then emphasis on faith and spiritual aspects may also be difficult for those who prioritize evidence and logical reasoning. The actions of some individuals who claim to be Christians, but do not exemplify the teachings of Christianity, can create confusion about the faith.
