Genesis 1-2 reveals that God created life through Adam and Eve, which later became an example of a sinful nature. Adam and Eve desired to be like God (Grand Canyon University, 2020). God created humanity to rule on behalf of him, not to be him (Grand Canyon University, 2020). The text states Genesis reveals the creation of humankind in the image of God. It is human nature for humanity to have a desire to be in a relationship. Genesis also tells the fall of humans being in the right relationship with God (Grand Canyon University, 2020). It is human nature to reason and makes choices (Grand Canyon University, 2020). After the fall of humanity, humanity was not in the right relationship with God (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Adam and Eve's disobedience brought sin to all of humanity (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Genesis points out that Adam and Eve brought death and evil into the World because of their disobedience (Grand Canyon University, 2020). The fall was an act of rebellion that created a separation between God and humanity's nature (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Because of their sin, Adam, Eve, and the rest of humankind lost privileges that were already given by God (Grand Canyon University,2020). After the fall, all humans were considered a transgressor and sinful by nature (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Human purpose is to live in harmonious marriage, be fruitful and multiply, and dominate the earth and work (Grand Canyon University, 2020). God's purpose for humans is to seek a personal relationship with him. Humanity is to praise and worship God. God's design promise is for humans to flourish through our descendants who win over the serpent (Grand Canyon University, 2020). God desires humanity to thrive by fulfilling what's essential in our lives and conquering meaningful things that connect us with individuals on a deeper level (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Through God's covenants, God has a purpose to show his plan for us and keep his promise if we keep God first. Pantheism views human nature as not traditional as theism. Pantheism considers the universe as a whole as God (Grand Canyon University, 2020). According to the text, pantheism believes there is not God. The universe is of substance. The human purpose, according to pantheism, doesn't think humans have a sense of purpose. God is a self-sufficient person who does not need humans to exist with a purpose. Humans can flourish freely by choice when it comes to themselves and others. The belief is that humans have the power to create our purpose in life to connect to individuals on a deeper level. Originally, God created the World in goodness and for the World to be in harmony; because the fall of human sin brought the problems of evil and suffering into the World (Grand Canyon University). According to the text, once sin is the World's nature, not all suffering is connected to a specific sin (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Job's story is an example that humanity can be in right standing with God and still suffer. Although Christians have many perspectives on suffering, the Bible does not give all the answers (Grand Canyon University, 2020).
History has shown humans portraying themselves as God. Documentaries of today like sister wives and cults with men claiming God sent them to justify their wrongdoing. A Sin is an evil act that goes against God's nature and his law. Once God's commandments are broken, it brings evil and corruption into existence. However, sin is the multitude of things like greed, envy, death, bragging, and even sexism. Genesis 4 speaks of the effects of sin and death (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Dehumanization and diminish affects human dignity in the following ways. Allows humans not to trust, not being open to new relationships with others. Humans become distant and use others for their gain. When humans experience rejection, it causes issues of mistrust. When mistreated, it violates God's word (love thy neighbor as you love yourself). However, when humans are suffering, God reminds them to refine and mature their people (Grand Canyon University, 2020). Samaritan's Purse is operating from a Christian worldview in its statement of Go and does likewise. Samaritan's Purse responds to every day of rescuing and restoring hurting people who are not in remembrance. Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization whose mission statement is to provide spiritual and physical aid to hurting people worldwide (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). Samaritan's Purse has helped the needs of war victims, victims of poverty, natural disasters, famine, and disease with the sole purpose of sharing the love and the word of God through His Son and Jesus Christ (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). The church promotes the Gospel worldwide. For 40 years, the organization has been hearers of God by going out into the World and reaching the aid of the poor, sick, and suffering with food, medicine, and other assistance in the name of Christ (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). Samaritan's Purse believes there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). The Bible is the authoritative word of God, revealing the love of God to the World. They believe that he was born of a virgin, Jesus miracles and the shed of his blood on the cross for the World's sins. This organization believes in the resurrection of Jesus and his ascension to the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation for the lost and sinful man. Repentance of sin is faith in Jesus Christ. God will reward the righteous with eternal life in heaven, and everlasting punishment is in hell (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). Samaritan's Purse responds to every day of rescuing and restoring hurting people who are not in remembrance. Samaritan's Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization whose mission statement is to provide spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the World (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). Samaritan's Purse has helped the needs of war victims, victims of poverty, natural disasters, famine, and disease with the sole purpose of sharing the love and the word of God through His Son and Jesus Christ (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). The ministry of evangelism brings salvation to help followers of Christ grow into maturity in Christ. Human life is a concern for the physical and spiritual needs of every fellowman of Christ (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). The founder of Samaritan's Purse is Bob Pierce, who traveled Asia as an evangelist and journalist with Youth for Christ (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). God gave Bob the vision for ministry to dedicate himself to helping other Christians to care for the poor and suffering
in distant parts of the World (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). In 1973 Bob Pierce met Franklin Graham and was fascinated by the heart he had for world missions (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). In 1975 Franklin Graham attended a life-changing mission with Bob Pierce helping people in despair and poverty (Samaritan's Purse, 2020). Samaritan's Purse mission is no matter the place they offer more than just help but hope to suffer people in a broken world to share the news of only one who can bring peace (Samaritan's Purse, 2020).
