W06 Assignment: President Eyring Teach a Friend

Last Sunday I have been asked to share a spiritual thought in our ward council meeting we had
at church so I decided to share with the leaders in my ward the importance of missionary work
that President Eyring remarked in so many talks along his life. In order to share this brief
message, I used several quotes from different talks from President Eyring and what I wanted to
make people understand was the importance he shared with us about showing in our actions
that we truly want to be disciples of Jesus Christ not only with our scholarly knowledge of the
restored gospel but reaching out to the people around us, serving them and spending time
serving other more that just talking. This has always something captured my attention all the
time I have been listening a talk from President Eyring. In his messages he always invited people
to act and not only sharing the theory of the gospel. This is the point that I wanted to share with
the leaders in my ward and I have been really grateful to have this opportunity to share what I
