Nurses currently need competencies in health information innovation and data management to give safe and productive care (Needleman, 2021). Additionally, there is a focus on interprofessional collaboration and teamwork. Nursing education programs are incorporating interprofessional education experiences to prepare nurses for collaborative practice in diverse healthcare settings. The role of the nurse in leading change is crucial. Nurses are at the front of patient care and possess one of a kind insight into healthcare conveyance. They have the chance to recognize areas for development, propose innovative solutions, and advocate for change. Nurses can lead change by participating in policy advancement, implementing proof based practices, and serving as patient advocates within interdisciplinary teams. Role of State-Based Action Coalitions in Advancing NASEM Goals: National action coalitions play a vital role in advancing the goals outlined in the NASEM report. These coalitions bring together diverse stakeholders, including nurses, healthcare organizations, educators, and policymakers, to drive change at the state level.
