Introduction Theories are fundamental aspects of any field of study since they help unravel certain things that require scientific analysis. Notably, a theory is any structured idea to elaborate on a specific problem by providing deep insights that can clarify and understand the aspect being analyzed. Every theory is characterized by ideas of phenomena, propositions, concepts, and assumptions in the quest to provide insights into the contested issue. These aspects will be analyzed individually and substantial relationships drawn between them to depict how they structure a theory and influence its strength or weakness.
Phenomena Phenomena refer to situations or facts identified to happen or occur, particularly those whose explanation or cause is under analysis. Ideally, every theory relates to a specific phenomenon that is the expounded issue ( Indra, 2018) .

Concepts A theory is a general understanding or idea concerning something or a specific issue or problem. Formulating a concept is the initial step of theory development since it breaks down the problem into small understandable notions that can easily be comprehended ( Kirshbaum, 2021) .
Propositions A proposition links concepts in theory in situations where the association cannot be affirmed through an experiment. Ideally, a proposition is similar to a hypothesis, but they differ based on their respective purposes. Propositions are attributed to prior studies, existing correlative evidence, and logical or justifiable assumptions ( Indra, 2018) .
Assumptions Assumptions are statements recognized as truths, although they lack the proof to depict their accuracy. However, every theory must be accompanied by a set of assumptions accepted by the user or researcher. Assumptions are important because they create a way to actualize a specific theory ( Kirshbaum, 2021) .

Connections between phenomena, concepts, propositions, and assumptions During Theory Development Although phenomena, concepts, propositions, and assumptions are distinct, they collaborate in establishing the foundation of a testable theory ( Kirshbaum, 2021) . Every theory incorporates structured concepts, assumptions, and propositions that illustrate a specific phenomenon in a highly systematic and purposeful manner ( Indra, 2018) .
Application of the Four Aspects in my Typical Practice Experience As an oncology nurse, phenomena, propositions, concepts, and assumptions are inevitable factors since nursing incorporates numerous theories to improve patient care. The typical practice experience phenomenon is burn-out or nursing fatigue. A related nursing concept is the nurse-patient relationship which can be influenced by care fatigue ( Indra, 2018) . Similarly, a joint nursing proposition is that the workplace environment impacts nursing care, resulting in burnout. It is often assumed that nurses do not need breaks in their typical activities, but holidays are essential since long-working hours can result in burnout ( Indra, 2018) .
Decreased Nursing Productivity Phenomenon Burn-outs are a common phenomenon in nursing that results in decreased productivity. Ideally, nurses, are expected to be overly motivated in providing healthcare services to patients, but this can be hindered by burnout as a phenomenon ( Indra, 2018) . Inevitably, care fatigue impairs the provision of practical nursing care to patients, thereby influencing their health welfare.

The Concept of Nursing Fatigue and Patient-Nurse Relationships As stated earlier, the relationships created between nurses and their patients determine the quality of care provided and the overall patients’ quality of life ( Indra, 2018) . However, nurses experiencing burnout can impair their relationships with patients, thus failing to develop effective interpersonal relationships ( Indra, 2018) . As an oncology nurse, developing effective relationships with patients is essential because they require reliable emotional and psychological association with their caregivers.
Common Propositions in Oncology Nursing Studies show that the workplace environment is crucial in influencing nurses’ general wellbeing and the quality of their care ( Rivera et al., 2021) . However, an ineffective workplace environment characterized by heavy caseloads and an insufficient number of nurses can result in care fatigue.
Nursing Assumption that Nurses do not Need Rest It is often assumed that nurses do not require rest thus subjecting them to long working hours. Nonetheless, given the complexity of their profession, nurses easily get mentally, emotionally, and psychologically exhausted deteriorating their quality of care ( Kirshbaum, 2021) . It is thereby false to believe that they do not require rest.

Imogine King Theory in Nursing King's goal achievement theory is essential in nursing since it helps nurses foster patients' welfare. This theory was formulated in the early 1960s and expounded on a gradual, interpersonal association that facilitates patients' growth and development in achieving specific life goals ( Marilyn et al., 2019) . According to this theory, patients can fail to achieve their goals because of time, space, stress, and roles.
Relationship Between Imogine King Theory and Oncology Oncology in nursing relates to working with cancer patients alongside individuals vulnerable to acquiring cancer ( Kirshbaum, 2021) . As an oncology nurse, one is tasked with providing essential evaluations, executing treatments, and communicating with all patient care providers to aid them in creating a customized approach to meet each patient's needs.
Conclusion As discussed above, theoretical foundations are essential in fostering the success of research practices that aid in solving typical life problems. Every theory incorporates phenomena, concepts, propositions, and assumptions that interrelate in upholding the theory's success. As discussed in this presentation, nursing is a complex practice that aims at improving patients' welfare by advancing their health.
