Hi Class
COVID-19 is one of the deadliest diseases to date. This disease scientist believe came from a
SARS like virus. For years some scientists have studied Coronaviruses and discussed how a
larger form of the virus could potentially emerge. Fast forward to late 2019 when COVID-19
shows up and is now labeled the deadliest virus to date.
Considering all the research about COVID-19, I do think that another infectious disease could
emerge. COVID-19 has so many strands. It may not occur in the next year or two. However
within the next decade for sure. Considering all the research we now know about COVID-19
and how it mutates for sure it is bound to happen again. Unless we can put preventive measures
in place.
Infectious disease is caused by organisms like fungi and bacteria as well as viruses and parasites.
These diseases are contagious which means they can be passed person to person. Typical ways
of spreading is through touch, bodily fluids as well as airborne. Sone examples are pneumonia
and influenza.
Chronic Disease is a condition that someone develops over time typically can be hereditary or
caused by life style. These chronic diseases can restrict individuals from having a good quality if
life by limiting them from daily activities.
Cancer is a disease that I feel is spreading pretty rapidly. It is one of the leading causes of death.
Back in 2015, cancer was responsible for more than 8million deaths.
