How you would respond if you worked in his medical practice?
I am furious and livid that this Dr did this to these patients. This doctor took an oath to
do no harm and he disregarded that completely. I think I have a different perspective as
I work in cancer care. I see what these chemotherapy drugs do to people. These types
of medications completely destroy a person when they are used in the proper manner.
They can cause fatigue, a lot of digestive issues, people lose excessive amounts of
weight along with their hair. Patients lose a big part of who they are when they go
through chemo. To intentionally put a person through that is indeed criminal. This is a
great malfeasance. He stole the identity of these patients who were otherwise healthy
and then made sick because they were given powerful drugs that they did not need. I've
seen what cancer patients go through on a daily basis and it is demoralizing. I cannot
imagine going through that only to learn that you didn't have cancer.
I think that it I worked for this practice I would document everything that I possibly could
before I went to authorities. Documentation would be how you would prove the
wrongdoing. This is an example of gross negligence. It is a disregard of safety and it is
reckless in nature. I would be so disgusted knowing that Dr Fata intentionally did this to
people. It is so infuriating that this happened. I would have to encourage people to get a
second opinion. This is just sickening all around. The cost of human life all for greed is
very sad.
