Conduct hazard assessment :- Determine the possibility of radiation or hazardous material exposure as well as any potential hazard related to the NDT procedure. Establish NDT requirements :- Determine the precise NDT requirements for the project, including the frequency of inspections and the acceptance standards. Select NDT techniques :- Select the appropriate techniques based on the project parameters and results of the hazard assessment. Establish the equipment and personnel :- Establish the equipment and manpower required for the NDT process. Create safety protocols :- Develop protocols for carrying out the NDT process in a safe manner, including guidelines for emergency. Review and approve :- Examine the ITP and obtain approval from the relevant stakeholders, NDT staff and regulatory agencies. What are the NDT tests to consider constructing a submarine, and why? Magnetic particle testing :- Magnetic particles are used to inspect surface of submarine components, such as welds and structural elements, for cracks and other surface defects. Liquid penetrant Testing :- This technique is used to inspect cracks and other surface defects on the surface of submarine components, such as castings and welds. REFERENCES Stremmel, R.
