2 Abstracts: As we all know the healthcare system has always been influenced by new technological developments and innovations. This makes it quicker to apply and try innovative technology in the industry. In the past years, telehealth has been the new way of diagnosis and communication in the healthcare system. We must admit Covid-19 has changed the way everyone has operated their business. We made many realizations during this pandemic. Telehealth made it easy to obtain ?? connect?? patients , and doctor s , even while geographically separated. This new way made it much simpler to discuss cases via any device the patient prefer. ( Barenboim, H., Damitz, B., Brusky, L., & Franco, Z. 2023). The new service that I will be introducing will fall under the same umbrella of telehealth. During the pandemic, it was proven that pharmacies were overwhelmed with traffic and overloaded with work. Having a machine that could have the ability to refill medication and prescriptions will reduce the unnecessary waiting for the assistance of pharmacy personnel. This machine could be located like most ATMs are this will make it convenient for patients to obtain their medications at their convenient time. What are the customers that will benefit from this new service? Does this service have competition? What are some competitors?
ATM medication dispenser: The new service that I will discuss will be having an ATM robotic machine that will automatically fill your prescription at any time. These machines will be outside the pharmacy so patients will have the ability to use them at their convenience. The machines will have the technology to read and dispense emergency and regular medication. During the pandemic, one of the things that was regularly in operation was the pharmacies. This new service will help the pharmacies eliminate the long lines and the clients having to wait for a simple refill of any kind. What type of customers will benefit from this service? How will I advertise and promote this new service to the healthcare industry? Target customers and problem addressed: This new service will have endless customers. The main target customers will be emergency patients and patients who must refill their prescriptions. This will be very convenient and effective. Most of the time when you must go to the emergency you do not pick the time to get your prescription. Most of the tim e , you will have to wait until the next day because we do not have many pharmacies that are open 24 hours a day. If you must refill your medicatio n , you need to wait in long lines ; , this service will reduce the wait and even the direct contact with a pharmac y eutical . One problem that I always face with my refills is that I tend to wait until the last minute to request them. This has caused me to miss my medications at times for days . It will keep the medication in the database and the pharmacy will have a much better understanding of what is in their inventory. Thirdly, products/services almost always face competition. IF a new product is introduced that is unlike anything else on the market... and it is successful... it won't be long before the competition is out there challenging you for market share.
