Kelsey Longmore Sister Running MKT 351 Feb 2, 2024 First off, it sounds like Sanergy has the right goal in mind for the audience they want to promote Farm Star products to. Every farmer needs fertilizer whether they have a mini farm or a giant farm. To have their audience already in mind is already such a great start but there are still a few goals I would like to touch on that they should consider. What business goals should Sanergy social media consider for the Farm Star product? Their first business goal that should be considered is their brand awareness. To do this they would need to start looking at follower counts. Knowing their follower count already will help them to know how they need to improve their reach. If it is really low, they may need to start looking into paying someone to promote their product. If this ends up being the case, then they will need to start making a financial goal so they know how much they should be putting into promoting their products. If they have both those goals, they can start getting out there. The more it is promoted, the more followers and cash flow will they receive on the Farm Start product. Another goal that I believe to be very important in their social media strategy is how they are promoting their products. If they sell to farms, they have a different lifestyle than a city slicker so you probably wouldn t want to make them look modern. I believe that the way you get your products bought is if you can show them that your products are worth it in their lifestyle. Farmers are typically outside so that product might want to be shown being used in gardens.
Lastly, Sanergy should consider boosting brand engagement. Understanding exactly what satisfies their customers will not only help Sanergy understand why their customers buy the products but also will increase the satisfaction of those customers. When you understand what it is that satisfies your customers you know what will get them to buy your product. What measurement plan should be put in place to track the organization’s progress against those goals? First, Sanergy should define business objectives. This will help Sanergy know what specific goals they should be making to help their organization’s progression go up. Next, they should identify measurement goals as it will lead them to learn from what they collect from their data and research. When they can learn from what they collect from their data and research there is a much higher chance they will progress and find success in their plans. Then, defining KPIs allows them to know whether or not they are effectively meeting their business objectives. This measurement plan can help the business successfully get to where they want it to be. When they look at these different aspects of the business, they can know better what it is that is working and what they need to work on. After they know both of those, they can then work on making smaller goals that will allow them room for improvement and a path they can take to improve.
