Traditional and Digital marketing- traditional marketing is what I grow up with listening to
the jingles on the radio and the colorful but catchy commercials on TV. Then can the digital
marketing with social media, and streaming services. My surprise was how much we rely on
both methods to make our brand stronger and increase profitability. Marketing to a multi-
generational community requires different methods to reach different audience and I really
enjoy learning about that.
Public Relations Director- the importance of having a single voice responding to
negative comments about your business is very important and could save the business for
further liability. It’s important if you have negative responses on digital platforms to have the
public relation officer respond directly and in a timely manner. This will reduce the
unnecessary verbiage that could be harmful to your business. Managing customers perception
is very important because it can make or break your business.
Importance of Brand Equity and enhance Brand loyalty- Brand loyalty is that good or
bad experience of the product that makes you remember that brand. So marketing, operations,
and sales must all work closely together to promote that product and make sure customers
have a great experience. Enhancing the brand such as growing or ensuring loyal customers
return is a constant work in progress. Learning about the theme park reopening and how much
strategic thinking, special initiatives and digital management is needed to ensure success was
very interesting.
When thinking of attributes of an effective leader, what personal brand traits do they
appear to possess?
I think every leader should be empathetic, must be able to communicate effectively,
transparent, and trustworthy. From my past work experience many leaders that I have
encountered were very toxic. They were very bad at communicating what was needed to
get done, very abusive if things were not done to their satisfaction, even if it was wrong.
The workers should be able to feel comfortable in coming to the supervisor with a
problem and not feel intimidated. That thrust takes a long time to build and it is very
valuable tool.
Describe your desired personal brand. How can being a lifelong learner help with
reaching your desired personal brand image?
I am aspiring to change my career and work in Human Resources because I have always pride
myself on having integrity and try to do what is right and not blaming others for my short
comings. In the world today it might be surprising that many that grown executives are
playing the blame game to move ahead in their careers. In my opinion if you want to get along
with people you associate with, we must be empathetic, trustworthy, and work at our
communication skills diligently. Long life learning is very important because it help me
evaluate my situation with new information provided by new knowledge for taking
certifications, reading business articles and continuous research.
