Finally, one cannot underestimate the power of social media in today’s world. It is extremely important that any business for that matter must monitor the social media for responses or people reactions about their experience with services or products the business offers and it is important to respond to them in a timely manner without losing the patience. When thinking of attributes of an effective leader, what personal brand traits do they appear to possess? When I think of the attributes of an effective leader, having the leadership qualities – ability to effectively drive a large workforce, providing the resources & then empowering people to get the work done and practicing influential leadership are very critical for a leader to be successful in today’s work environment. Describe your desired personal brand. How can being a lifelong learner help with reaching your desired personal brand image? I think continuous learning, continuous improvement & practicing what you learned are important in reaching the personal brand image. There are very few people who are kind of born leaders but this is a skill that needs to be developed over time by practicing leadership. I think this MBA course has been helping me learn the leadership concepts but again, I need to apply them in real life as I lead my teams. I was not lucky enough to get my masters degree when I was a student however after working for over 25 years, I am already leading large teams and I feel I need to move on in to a leadership role so decided to pursue my MBA through SNHU, applying the concept of continuous learning in my personal career growth. Hope to get there very soon. :)
