One issue is Mark speaking about confidential stuff in public while being videoed and now it is posted on social media for everyone to see. b. Another issue is Caroline saying keep quiet about the issue and that the profile is hers and she shared the video and recorded it. 2. What is Madison’s responsibility to the firm and Terry? a. Madison has a responsibility to the firm and Terry to report any conduct that could potentially harm the company. The tik-tok video talks about a possible merger deal in addition to criticising the company's managers. This will have an impact on the company's stock price and result in market manipulation. 3. Do you think Madison should report Mark and Caroline? a. Yes I think she should as she has some responsibility in stopping the issue and preventing it from happening again. Ethical dilemma 2 1. How do you think this situation should be handled? a. I think that they need to go greener as a whole company as the whole world is going to be more focused on environmental stability and reduction in carbon emissions and greenhouse gases. Trying to balance approaches for decision- making will allow the company to develop a greener approach in the future. 2. What does fiduciary duty mean? a. It is the legal responsibility to act solely in the best interest of another party. 3. Who are the primary stakeholders in this scenario? Secondary stakeholders?

Demarco ought to address this matter by outlining the advantages the project will provide for the tribe when he meets with the leaders of the tribe. He ought to gently explain to them the advantages of the project being carried out in the forest. It should be explained to them that the new standard of living will only be an improved one, complete with new job opportunities, schools, and hospitals. Resolving ethical Business Challenges 2 1. Why should Ann get involved in reporting if she has not experienced any of the allegations the other employees are making? a. Ann should report Oliver to the manager even though she hasn't personally experienced any of the accusations because, at the very least, she should try to assist them in resolving the issue and making sure it doesn't happen again. She believes that she should be held accountable if the company's reputation is damaged, but she also believes that it is better for people to know sooner rather than later. 2. What are some of the characteristics of the Best East's ethical culture that would create the current dilemma for Ann? a. The fact that Oliver is the owner's son puts Ann in a difficult situation. The fact that Best East has a stellar reputation and appears to have been extremely successful presents another conundrum. Ann is aware that this would be a great place for her to develop professionally and that it could help her determine what kind of work she wants to do in the long run. However, given what she has learned about the male employees, she really ought to report them first and watch what happens. 3. What should Ann do to resolve her concerns?
