On one hand, my current employer had invested time and resources in training me. Leaving now could potentially cause difficulties for the company, as I have built a rapport with many students. My departure might result in the loss of these students, leading to a decline in revenue for the company. Additionally, my absence could disrupt the company's plans, especially since it was during the summer when the company was planning on assigning multiple coaches to collaborate and teach lessons for the tennis summer camp. On the other hand, I was working to earn money to afford my college tuition. Switching to this new company could alleviate my financial stress, as they offer better pay and benefits. Additionally, this new company boasts well-known coaches, providing me with an opportunity to learn new skills and potentially pave the way for better career growth in the future. In this scenario, I faced a dilemma that required me to choose between honoring my commitment to my current employer and seizing an opportunity that could significantly benefit my own career and personal life. Both choices were ethical, and neither option would lead to any legal issues. After careful consideration during that time, I ultimately decided to accept the offer and switch to the new company.
