Philosophy of Classroom My Philosophy of Classroom Management I believe that students can be taught self-control. All children at a young age are unique and are naturally disruptive. They are curious little people trying to find themselves; therefore, they need to be molded and conditioned to behave appropriately. Not all students are the same. They don't think or act alike, so teachers shouldn't expect them to behave the same. Giving students responsibility in the classroom means you teach them how to become a leader and helpful. What Makes a Teacher Effective? The characteristic of an effective teacher is open-mindedness, Intellectual challenge, good communication skills, and a good listener. Many times, the principal or other board members will observe a teacher. Having an open mind will keep you from becoming bitter when you don't like what it said on an observation form. Instead, you will receive constructive feedback and apply the changes to make you a better teacher. There is always room for improvement. No one knows everything. An intellectual challenge teacher knows that all students do not learn at the same pace. Therefore, the teacher should set goals for students according to their level. This teacher will also let students know the expectations of the class and will push students to their full potential. A good communication teacher knows how to talk to students. They build up the student's self-esteem and do not tear them down. When a student does not understand something, they should explain the lesson clearly to understand. This person also has good presentation skills. They should take a boring lecture and make it fun and exciting. A good communication teacher's tone of voice and body language are not intimidated, so the students should not be
Philosophy of Classroom afraid to express themselves. This teacher should express themselves in writing and verbally to anyone, especially parents and administrators. A good listener is not someone who always does the talking. They do not listen to respond, but they listen to understand what is being said. A good listening teacher lets the students know they have someone on their side and who is there if they need to talk. You let people know that you care about them when you are willing to listen. Active listening helps build the relationship between the student and the teacher, which would also help the teacher keep control of her classroom when she is willing to listen. What is my definition of classroom management? Classroom management is the ability to maintain appropriate student behavior in the classroom. Teachers use these techniques to keep students in order and ensure that all students learn in a positive environment. If a teacher cannot maintain control of the classroom, the school will not have a productive environment. Once power is lost, it is hard to gain it back. Classroom management is not just about behavior but also class instruction. If a teacher can manage the classroom, she would teach and keep the discipline under control. How do I want my classroom to look and feel, behaviorally speaking? What aspects of classroom functioning are most important to me? I want my classroom to be well organized. My room will also look inviting. I will develop rules with the help of my students that are respectful and caring. Students will have a part in making the rules to understand that it is what they create when they break them. The rules will have consequences, and I will also have a reward system to reward good behavior. My lesson will be primarily student-led. During my years of teaching, I found out that students learn

Philosophy of Classroom better from their peers. Anyone who walks into my room will see routines and procedures in place. Giving the student a pattern will help control behavior because when they are not at the teacher's table, they will know what is expected of them at the independent practice table. The learning objective will be student-friendly, and I will also walk around when I'm not small group teaching to make sure that all students are on task or assist those who need extra help. I will set a positive environment for my student. Having a positive environment helps to control classroom behavior, and it also set the tone for the classroom. I will also make sure that I build a great relationship with my students, parents, administrators, and co-workers. My lesson plan will be fun and exciting. I will try to make sure that student is learning while having fun. I want to develop a system to address behavior on time and not take away from instruction. What are my primary responsibilities in classroom management? To facilitate the development of an effective learning environment, it is the teacher's job to create a classroom management plan. A teacher's most significant challenge while teaching is learning how to foster responsible behavior. As a teacher, it is my responsibility to ensure that my classroom is a safe haven for my students. Classroom rules need to align with the district policies. Not having good classroom management will cause lower achievement for the students and a high burnout rate for the teacher. There must also be a positive student interaction between student and teacher. I must have a well-organized classroom. I must establish classroom rules and expectations that hold students accountable for their actions. I must be able to maintain student-appropriate behavior. Not all students come to behave well, so I must teach them how to behave responsibly. As a teacher, we are supposed to help students understand what is expected of them behavior-wise and express how they should comply with the expectations for effective learning to take place. Positively, I should teach students how to behave appropriately. I will
Philosophy of Classroom provide feedback and reteach what needs to be taught if the student does not understand. Students must learn self-control and how to motivate themselves to do better. A regular check-in on your students will let them know that you are concerned about their well-being. If the class starts on a positive note, it will end in the same manner. What are my student's main responsibilities regard to behavior and classroom management? Student plays a significant role in classroom management. A student should be able to contribute a positive vibe to the classroom culture. A student should take personal accountability for their action. A student should be helpful and an active participant in the class. A student should abide by the rules of the school. These rules should be incorporated into the daily routine in class. Inviting the student to help make the rules helps ensure them that they play a positive role in the classroom. Students are expected to be team players. Working together can be very helpful because your teammates can help you understand something you need help with. They should be able to work well with others during group activities. In the classroom, students should show respect to themselves and others. Being respectful can create a positive learning environment. Being respectful can be something as simple as raising your hand before speaking. It is very disrespectful when you are interrupting others while they are talking. When you show respect, it helps avoid classroom disruption. Make sure that you are on time for class. Being on time lets a teacher know you are ready to learn. Being late can sometimes affect your academic progress. A student should ask a question when they do not understand. Negative interaction can cause a weakened student-teacher relationship. Instead of blaming the student or talking down on the student, a teacher can help that student work through what they could have done differently
Philosophy of Classroom to prevent the problem from happening. A student should not be ashamed to apologize for anything that they have done as well as the teacher can also apologize if they were in the wrong.
