Hello Class, What steps would you take to improve diversity hiring in an agency or organization? How does a diverse criminal justice system or security organization result in increased effectiveness and crime prevention? Steps to improve diversity of hiring agency or organization are step 1 assess or audit the current hiring process. Step 2 the organization should then develop a diversity hiring strategy by picking metrics to improve diversity hiring. Then step 3 creates a selection process that’s fair and unbiased, and the organization needs to provide training and support to value and embrace diversity. Lastly, step 4 evaluates the diversity metrics used for hiring. To increase effectiveness and prevent crime, the diverse communities where there is a lot of police traffic must have trust in law enforcement. The diverse criminal justice system or security organizations increase the effectiveness and prevention of crime in different ways. One a diverse workforce will understand and respond to community needs. Two diverse organizations can identify and address security threats. Lastly, there a diverse organization is most likely seen as a credible and legitimate organization, and the diverse organization is effective in meeting its goals and objectives.
