Professional Dispositions Self-Evaluation Part 2 Reflection Professional dispositions and ethic To obtain a successful career in educational leadership or educational administration individuals should exhibit high expectations, have respect for the diversity of others, show fairness, have professional conduct and have a positive reflects. As an educator It is important to set high expectations for students but these expectations should also ensure that all students can be reached. The expectations set should also be communicated in positive ways. Educators within the College of Education believe that all students have the capacity to be successful in their academic endeavors ( Campus resources ). What works for one student may not work for another. There are many resources available to help with setting high expectations, making decisions, etc. One of the resources available is the Model Code of Educator Ethics. This resource is separated into 5 principals and each principal serves a different purpose to aid educators in the best that they can be. The establishment of this professional code of ethics, by educators and for educators, honors the public trust and upholds the dignity of the profession ( A look at the model code of ethics for educators (MCEE) ). Areas to develop There is always room for development in anything that you do. Three 3 things that would like to develop in is first my daily walk with Jesus Christ. I want to pray more, read my word more, and learn more about the lord. The second thing that I would like to develop in is time management. I have the hardest time managing my time and sometimes it because overwhelming and stressful. The third thing that I would like to develop in is gardening. This year I plan to plant a indoor garden with my students but first I would like to learn the basic on my own before 2

I introduce this to them. Growing and developing is a way of life and there is always room for growth. 3
