Senatorial Candidate Interview PAD 631 – Strategic Management in Public Question #1 As a new candidate, do you have the strength and ability to face adversity to achieve the vision of your new America? This topic allows the candidate to address the complex issues and concerns that may arise during the journey to a new America. When a candidate decides to make a change and pave a new way for America, speed bumps will be in the way due to the current vision of America having others question if this new change is for the best. Along with changing the vision you also must rebuild trust and faith in the community with your new vision. As well as maintaining composure and determination to push through adversity when real conflicts and concerns begin to overwhelm you, the journey to the new vision of America. Question #2 As a new candidate, do you have the enthusiasm, experience, and desire to complete the new vision? This topic allows us to see the true dedication of the candidate and if a conflict will allow them to fall short of their new vision. The candidate should have the desire and enthusiasm to push through adversity to seek the successful completion of the new vision they have envisioned.
Along with the candidate should be a leader and show respect to those in the community striving for change and action, not just conversation that does not lead to a change in the norm. Question #3 As a new candidate, what is your goal and strategic plan for current conflict in the community? This topic allows the candidate to address any issues that may arise which are unforeseen and might lead to further discussion or action to complete the vision in mind. A successful path to change allows us to see the barrier between what the community is currently observing and what the community wants to see in the future. A great way to reach this would be to determine goals for the community that are obtainable, but also create a challenge to inspire dedicated and hardworking individuals.
