Employee What was difficult? What was successful? - The most difficult part of the project was finding a time to get at least most of the group members into a call to discuss the project. Unfortunately, some errors occurred when trying to join calls, and our group members are in every time zone of the US, so we weren't all able to make it into the call. On the other hand, once we started communicating the project was completed efficiently! So even though we got a late start on our project discussion, we were successful in completing everything that was required. What reward systems did the middle manager use? - Our manager used transactional leadership in this project. How did they work? -We were rewarded with an extra $5 towards our paycheck for each 1lb bag of coffee beans we sold. The person who sold the most also got the first choice for which holiday they want to have off next year. Was the connection between the overall goal and product clear? -The connection between the overall goal and the product was made very clear. Would it have helped, if the leader had intervened in the process? -I don’t it would have helped if the leader had intervened in this scenario because we were already trying to make things work on such different schedules. Both the leader and the middle manager made this project run smoothly!
