Pretend you are a manager of a justice agency. Identify five communications skills that you believe could be improved upon to enhance the communication of goals and objectives of the agency. Without communication, there would be so many mishaps and flaws in the world. No matter the language someone speaks, or the symbols/ sign language used, the eye contact, whatever it may be communication is a very beautiful thing that can be expressed in an abundance of ways (More, Vito, Walsh, 2020). Writing, body language, eyes, any part of your body can give off 'words' or a 'vibe' that can then be interpreted. 5 communication skills that I believe could be used to enhance the communication of goals and objectives of the agency are as follows: active listener confidence, people need to believe that you believe what you're saying and spreading respect, this is earned not automatically given because of your title or position understanding constructive criticism, this can only make you better, people have learned and are trying to grow non verbal communication, cues, body language All 5 of these communication skills of course play very key roles in the development and management of a justice agency.
