2 Community-based partnerships to enhance education quality School administrators have been campaigning for the importance of community involvement in education. For quite some time, guardians have been urged to directly participate in their kid’s academic journey as it will provide ample time for assessing the learner’s progress. In order to gain a deeper understanding of the subject, I conducted an interview with a volunteer who is committed in being part of kids’ academic journey. The following questions were used during the interview; Part 1: Conducted interview with a volunteer in the community Question1 : How are you involved in working with schools, parents, and community for the advantage of the kids in the locality? Part 2: Interview Summary Analysis In accordance with the conducted interview, it’s pretty evident that deployed after-school programs have created multiple benefits to the community. Through the programs, it has been quite easy for students to access additional resources that aren’t provided in schools. Such resources come in handy in creating ample time for students to complete their homework, hence fostering a better comprehension of their syllabus (Wagner, 2019). Besides, the conducted interview also affirmed that after-school programs provide tutoring services that expose kids to new ways of solving prevailing problems that teachers had previously overlooked in class. It’s also apparent that youths within a locality ought to be on the front line, taking up various volunteer roles that enhance kids’ academic excellence. Being involved in such programs

4 will provide superb grounds for a community to challenge current academic levels among kids. Youths shouldn’t focus on the monetary benefits that after-school programs should provide to them. Instead, the key focus should be creating a competitive environment for kids, thus providing ideal grounds for improving current living conditions once kids excel in academics. However, to lure additional youths into partaking in such volunteering roles, leaders and community-based organizations should provide incentives to motivate individuals to commit their time and resources to educational programs (Wagner, 2019). The analysis also affirms that volunteers across multiple facilities should develop ideal communication channels with parents, schools, and other community-based foundations to foster ideal after-school programs. Superb communication channels will create the required ambience, which is vital for addressing emerging issues aligned with academic performance. Investing in online platforms such as Facebook and Twitter will create easy access for all stakeholders to air out their grievances on academics, thus eliciting an increased performance in schools within the locality. Typically, partnering with parents, schools, and the community is vital for fostering improved learning objectives.
