In the increasingly transparent environment of modern business, personal and corporate integrity and corporate social responsibility are being scrutinized by both consumers and investors to a greater degree than has ever been witnessed. What are the most important steps for modern managers to take to assure authentic personal and corporate integrity and genuine demonstration of corporate social responsibility? Why? What adjustments have you made or do you want to make to your management practice as a result of interacting with this material? Explain. How does the information you learned influence your potential dissertation research? Explain. The current interrelated business world can seem overtly challenging by corporations and their managerial staff because information is instantly at one’s fingertips. This can pose a challenge because personal and business integrity can easily be swayed. The significant actions modern managers can implement ensuring business integrity and corporate social responsibility would be recognizing the circumstances that trigger unethical business tactics and conduct, promoting the creation of corporate ethics policies and strict ethics compliance, open communication, and encouraging civic engagement within the business and the community. The Code of Ethics is frequently employed as the standard for individual conduct and transparent, accountable governance in most companies today (Rani et al., 2015). The personal management adjustments made have been inclusion, open and honest communication, and leading by example. It is vital that the development of that management style can foster a positive, ethical, and efficient workforce because rules alone cannot thwart human frailties or eradicate dishonesty completely (Wren & Bedelan, 2020). That style builds trust, open and honest dialogue, and more productive workers who feel they have a personal stake in the assigned tasks and corporate mission. Finally, the information learned will influence my potential dissertation because remaining ethical in decision-making regarding how to safeguard corporate operations, assets, reputation, and the relationships with internal and external customers. It is imperative to uphold ethics while treating customers fairly. References Rani, M. R. J., Krishna Prasad, C. B. V., & Gowri Shankar, K. U. (2015). Ethical decision making: Guiding principles.
