It has approximately 1,600 skilled workers, over 1,600 of whom contribute to the economy of the country. Its headquarters are located in Accra, the capital city of Ghana. GCB has several subsidiaries, including cocoa processing plants and research institutes dedicated to improving cocoa production. Company History Established in 1947, GCB has played a pivotal role in Ghana's economy and its reputation as a major cocoa-producing nation. Key milestones include: 1947: Formation of Ghana Cocoa Board to oversee the cocoa sector. 1984: Introduction of a mass spraying program to combat pests and diseases. 2005: Launch of the Cocoa Health and Extension Division to improve farming practices. 2010: Implementation of the Cocoa Management System for better supply chain management. Overview GCB's primary mission is to ensure the sustainable development of the Ghanaian cocoa industry. It strives to achieve this through various means, including setting cocoa prices, offering support

Rational Because of its global significance and the intricacy of its operations, I picked GCB as the subject of my investigation. GCB's significance in the professional services industry, its broad reach, and the problems it faces in a fast-changing business world make it an appealing study subject.
