1 Implementing Change Topic 1 Nurses and other healthcare professionals frequently deal with change in their daily work. Both positive and negative changes have occurred in the course of my life. One of the good changes was when I chose to relocate for work, to a new location. I was eager for the fresh possibilities and difficulties that lay ahead. I was eager to make new acquaintances and get to know new people. I moved in without incident and got situated right away. I managed to adjust to the new surroundings and society, and both my personal and professional lives were enjoyable. The adoption of a new software system in my workplace was one of the bad changes I went through. Our work procedures were supposed to be streamlined, and the system itself was supposed to make our jobs simpler and eliminate redundant and duplicate tasks. However, both the planning and the training for the execution were lacking. Because of this, a lot of us had trouble utilizing the new method, which led to stress and frustration. We struggled to adjust to the new method for a very long time because the adjustment was not well received (Guerin, 2020) . The positive experience was successful because it was well thought out and carried out. I was ready for the change because I knew exactly what to anticipate. I was also eager for the fresh possibilities and difficulties that lay ahead of me. The improvement affected my life significantly and was for the better. The poor planning and execution made for a bad encounter. The modification had poor reception and resulted in considerable tension and discomfort. Because of the poor instruction, many of us found it difficult to make use of the new system. The modification adversely affected both our personal and professional lives (Nararatwong et al.,
2 2020) . The belief that organizational change will enable a company to operate at an elevated level, becoming more efficient, successful, imaginative, and valuable leads to its frequent pursuit. Poor management of the shift could have a dual negative impact on employee efficiency and productivity. Managers as well as leaders must be aware of their responsibilities in managing change, which include effective training, communication, and execution planning. In our situation, the change initiative did not follow the procedures for carrying out change (Bond- Fortier, 2020) . References Bond-Fortier, B. J. (2020). Organizational change.
