2 Human Resource The roles and responsibilities of a human resource director in the hiring process and training of a teacher include overseeing the hiring and exiting interviews and procedures. The director ensures new teachers are given orientation in the school and processes any initial or terminal paperwork concerning the hiring or dismissal of a teacher. The director also participates in teacher union and contract negotiation meetings. The director is also responsible for developing HR plans and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Essentially, the human resource director oversees the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of new staff teachers in the school. The HR director also oversees the daily workflow of the school and offers constructive and timely performance evaluations of teachers. The HR also handles any discipline and termination of teachers per the employment laws provided in the school policy. The HR director also identifies and handles any teachers' recruitment and staffing needs in the company and monitors and ensures teachers' compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The HR director is also responsible for promoting ethics in the company, such as fostering fairness and justice for all teachers and providing role models of the highest ethical standards of conduct. The information from the research about the roles and responsibilities of an HR director in hiring and training teachers over the code of conduct supported my initial beliefs on the issue. Fundamentally, the HR director is responsible for executing the hiring and training of new teaching staff in the school as well as promoting the code of ethics among the teachers. The HR director also ensures teachers' compliance with federal, state, and local

3 laws. HR promotes the code of ethics by leading by example and maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct.
