This webinar stressed that our hypothetical company would benefit from an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). First, an EAP would address our employees' wellness and mental health concerns proactively. Due to the stressors of the modern workplace and the worldwide pandemic, providing discreet and short-term therapy through an EAP will help our staff overcome personal and professional issues. As Elizabeth Reyes noted in the webinar, encouraging employees to use the program can establish a good work-life balance and a supportive work environment that boosts morale and productivity. Additionally, an EAP would reduce absenteeism in our company. The webinar noted that stress and personal difficulties promote employee absence. The program can improve employee health, job satisfaction, and productivity by addressing their personal and professional concerns. By helping our leadership team manage workplace concerns, the EAP can create a more unified and thriving workplace, ensuring our organization's long-term success.
