ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE 2 Why would a new employee in this organization fail if he or she did not understand the organization's culture? Failure to understand Walmart’s culture can lead to the failure of a new employee. It will make it challenging for the new employee to adopt the organization's dominant values and norms. It will also affect the relationship with other employees, which will affect their workplace performance (Lombardo, 2019). Therefore, a new employee needs to understand the organizational culture of the firm.
