2 The Walt Disney Company CSR The Walt Disney Company, also called Disney World, refers to an American multinational mass media and entertainment aggregation of diversity. It has its headquarters in Burbank, California. The corporation was launched by two brothers, Walt, and Roy Disney, in October 1923, who started Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio. The firm also worked under the names of The Walt Disney Studio and Productions before transforming its name in 1986 to The Walt Disney Company (Zukin, 2020). Therefore, the Company became dominant in American animation firms before transforming into a live-action film industry and television service. In the past four decades, it has created and claimed corporate divisions to market additional content than is incorporated with the flagship-oriented varieties. The firm is famous for its film studio categories, including Walt Disney Animation Studios, Walt Disney Pictures,
3 Marvel Studios, Pixar, 20 th Century Studios, Lucas Film, Blu Sky Studios, and Searchlight Pictures. Disney's additional units and reporting segments include Disney Parks, Disney Media Networks, and Products and Experiences. Therefore, Disney owns and works on the ABC broadcast network using these segments. It owns cable television networks which include ESPN, National Geographic, Disney Channel, and FX. It also publishes merchandise, music, theatre, and Disney Parks. Ranking Regarding CSR The Company is ranked at position five according to the Axos Harris Poll 100 for 2019, holding the position for the second year consecutively. The study utilizes the propriety research from Harris Poll to estimate the reputations of the 100 most evident firms in the United States and outline how individuals take on these famous businesses. Additionally, Disney's operations were also identified by Fortune . Thus, the Company's corporate citizenship strategies are interconnected with the strategic goals of its different businesses. The environmental impact policies assure business feasibility and the linked stakeholder interests while also enhancing Disneyland functions regarding maintaining the resorts and parks' greenery and natural balance.

4 Corporate responsibility enables the implementation of its competitive strategy and its growth policies. The CSR approach aids the firm in competing against competing organizations, including Time Warner, Sony, and Comcast. The Company's corporate social strategy and other initiatives and drives are involved in the strategic positioning that interests the whole Company, including branches such as Pixar Animation Studios and Marvel Studios (Wisneski, 2020). The Walt Disney Company addresses and handles the stakeholder needs as a significant element in resorts and parks, including media and entertainment. Its corporate citizenship technique is beneficial in attaining stakeholder interests with the effectiveness and business financial objectives. Through these, its corporate social responsibility ensures its profits from offering quality entertainment products and participation to its clients globally. Disney's Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy Disney divides its corporate social responsibility initiatives into Environment and Philanthropy. 5 Does the Company's approach to CSR influence your purchasing decisions? I am more inclined to begin doing business with the organization if it supports a cause that benefits its clients. Clients will want to continue doing business with or purchasing from a firm if it reflects their opinions and values and works to address a problem widely recognized (Wisneski, 2020). Because they can influence enterprises, customers may utilize their purchasing power to change how companies do operations.
