Discussion Board 4 Reply Discussion Thread: Internal Environment, Power / Weakness, and Decision Models Discussion Thread Reply Summary: A company's performance is heavily determined by its ability to investigate the competition associated with its market thoroughly. Challenging factors of business factors are often as intensely internal as external. The stronger a company's overall performance, the harder that company should focus on the highest strategic output centered around market performance. Dissecting internal needs applies to an organization that is steadfast in operational effectiveness. Businesses have an exciting approach to them should they determine the need by swaying the market to maneuver in favor of operational requirements. While a sound system, a company should discover and understand their strength, weakness, opportunity, and threat in its operations. The determinate requires a concentrated focus that analyses the approach to the appropriate decision to ensure operational advantage. Critique: The overall flow of this discussion is very well thought out. The facts are aligned to allow the reader to articulate the steps of an internal strategic process clearly. The discussion points were clear and supported throughout the assignment, giving clear reasoning for the reader for the internal review process. Cassiman & Veugelers (2006) support the debate, focusing on the importance of internal assessment. While the discussion adequately expresses and defines the objectives of the internal review, the importance of integrity would have added to the argument of internal practices. Bagdasarov et al. (2016) offer a clear data set explaining internal research and development as a means for
business building and prosperity. The totality of this discussion was substantial but leaves room for definition and research standards by arguing the points already approached and semi-proven.
