from Houston TX married with three beautiful children
currently working full time as a truck driver and a pat time
soldier in the Texas Army National Guard. I am pursuing a
bachelor's degree in Social Science and going to major in
criminal justice; My plan is to continue my job as a truck driver
and finish out my last two years in the military while go to
school full time and eventually joining the force in law
enforcement.
Taking Ownership of my personal success during this course to
me means staying focused on what the ultimate goals are and
what I'm working towards to help me stay motived and be
successful throughout this journey.
In the videos from the previous page they helped define the
concept of taking ownership by explaining to us the real
meaning behind it and the reason for it furthermore they also
supported what I already knew about taking ownership and
diving deeper in into the meaning of taking ownership and
helped me understand more in depth how to focus on what's
really important and that of course is the big picture in the
long run.
A few examples of many as to how will I apply ownership to
my own academic journey is knowing how to prioritize what
needs to be done first in order for me to be successful,
nevertheless, general education pays a big role in my
education no matter how little it seems to matter but that
might be the reason I stand out amongst my peers and will
simply help me go further in life and in my career.
