A dark coloured Caddy van, travelling in the same direction as the excavator followed shortly after. The vehicle is seen to reverse into the driveway and park approximately level with the gate posts. They are seen to check both directions before walking to the rear of the vehicle on the drivers’ side. The driver was of medium build wearing dark pants, dark jacket, balaclava and light-coloured shoes. The excavator, positioned in front of the ATM, on the right-hand side of the building, used the bucket and hydraulic arm to breach the exterior wall of the structure. The excavator driver, using the bucket, lifted the ATM from the debris. The proceeded to swing the hydraulic arm to the left, in the direction of the driveway.
