The methods used to create restrictive covenants are typically putting them in a deed, recording them in public records, and recording a plat that contains them.
17. How can restrictive covenants be terminated?
The ways they terminate them are when the restrictive covenants have been abandoned, when they have a stated time period, when the neighborhood has undergone substantially changed conditions, or when properties merge.
