Part 1: Product – Scenario (Part B)
Using the Personal Work Schedule –
Version 1 from Part A, you will need to review the following changes to your chosen scenario. You will need to respond to the questions and submit your Personal Work Schedule –
Version 2. Your submission must demonstrate your ability to implement your personal work schedule including: •
communicating your personal work schedule to relevant personnel •
monitoring your own performance according to personal work schedule •
documenting variations between expected and actual work performance according to task requirements and communicate to relevant personnel. Use the scenario information below and the criteria listed on the Assessment checklist to guide your responses to the task requirements. Once completed, submit this assessment to your Teacher/Assessor for marking. Online students should submit the assessment via the TAFE NSW online learning platform.
OFFICIAL OFFICIAL Scenario Consider the following events based on your chosen scenario: Role Scenario/Brief/Project 1.
Journalist In the second week into your assignment, the court case takes a dramatic turn with new evidence introduced. Your editor now requires you to submit an article a day for the next week. Note you have also taken on another assignment which also has a deadline within this same week. 2.
Podcaster Podcast subscribers have substantially increased in the past week because of a feature by ABC News. You have been approached by a disability services provider who wants to sponsor the next three podcast interviews and they will put forward more interviewees to extend the series. Note that you had another podcast series scheduled after this current series you are working on, and which you have already announced to your subscribers and in social media. 3.
Film Director The Producer is having difficulty securing permissions to film in high care and dementia units. This will blow out the original production schedule. As the Film Director, you now have to reconsider the production schedule and take this delay into account. The aim was to launch the documentary at a national Aged Care Summit scheduled in three months - so you only have a one-month grace period from the original 2-month schedule.

Arts Administrator There are delays in transporting the paintings from regional and remote locations. The exhibition opening date cannot be re-
scheduled as patrons of the gallery and other important people have been invited, and media is covering the event. 5.
Tour Manager A few shows midtour have been overbooked and new shows and timeslots are required. These need to be accommodated without impacting the other shows scheduled after these additional shows. 6.
Music Video Editor One of the music artists has decided to re-shoot their video. You are scheduled to travel to another country to be on set with a famous musician, and this will impact on your ability to now edit this re-shot music video.

Assessor Tips TASK/STEP # Instructions 1 After reviewing the updates to your chosen scenario/job role, compare this to your personal work schedule and identify how you are progressing/performing. How do you think you performed with your work tasks? Reflect on your performance and write down three points of feedback for yourself in the space below. You need to answer this task based on the role you chose for Part A You will need to use some professional judgment on how you think you have performed with your work tasks When reflecting on your performance you may include both positive feedback and areas for improvement. •
Examples of feedback could include better prioritisation of tasks.

3 You need to communicate the changes to your work schedule to the relevant stakeholders based on your scenario. What would be your rationale for the changes/adjustments you have made? It needs to provide information and proposed solutions
