Your Answer: Client server is an architecture in which the user’s PC (the client) is the requesting machine and the server is the supplying machine, both od which are connected via a local area network (LAN) or a wide area network (WAN) such as the internet. Common Examples of client-server network include DNS (domain name system), web browsers and web servers, and FTP (file transfer protocol) clients. Most people experience client-server networking daily using computer, smartphones, and tables connected to the internet. Question 12.2 3 Points Question: In your own words, what is the advantage of using a VPN? Why would a company set up a VPN inside their network? Your Answer: A VPN can hide your online identity by masking your IP address. It encrypts your location and the data you send and receive, helping protect your personal identifiable information. Question 12.3 2 Points Question: VLANS help a network to perform better. In your own words, what are three ways VLANS improves performance?
