Native Bush Spices Australia
Project Evaluation Report
Introduction
The company is growing, but since it only sells over the counter, it needs a new website to reach
new clients. A marketing communications project was undertaken to consolidate Native Bush
Spice's new strategic plan, aiming for 10% annual revenue growth over the next three years. The
company has a basic website that doesn't have too much information about the product or the
company. In addition, most sales are through existing customers, referrals, and transit traffic.
Finally, this project upgrades real websites to fit this new strategy to improve marketing
communications, consumers aged 35 to 65, with annual income of $80,000 Focus on capturing
and expanding target users. Overseas to Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore. The company aims to
develop a new website to reach the international market and meet the company's growth goal of
increasing sales by 10% every year in the next three years. The aim is to develop a new website
that is easy to navigate, but it will create new pages programmed in 3 languages, facilities for
payments, which will make it more functional for customers. The project is estimated to cost
$15,000, which will be used for programming, security systems, and graphic design. However, this
project is so complex during development that it may be necessary to build an external contractor
to integrate the project. Other costs are associated with new computer purchases and new Wi-Fi
contracts.
Performance against Project Objectives
Meeting requirements is one of the key success factors of project management. To measure this
factor, you need to develop a goodness of fit measure. In short, the solution meets your
requirements perfectly. The Requirement Performance Index measures the extent to which a
project's results meet your requirements. The types of requirements that may be measured
include functional requirements (what the product should or should do) and non-functional
requirements (product usability, quality such as performance). Typically, the conformance criteria
are derived sometime after the requirement description is first written. Derive the conformance
criteria by scrutinizing the requirements and determining which quantification best represents the
user's intent for the requirement.
In our project, the project started with a meeting with the website developers and discussed the
website. More meetings were held to confirm the briefs. Following this, the meeting didn't happen
until the website developers told them that it was working late. After these meetings, it was held as
scheduled. All other project communications, including status reports, internal meetings and
communications were conducted in accordance with the agreement. This included a change
request to change the budget. We don't have a budget for this, so we had to postpone the training
at this time. This is an urgent need to be considered to ensure that the relevant staff knows how to
make changes to their website and blog. There was a budget overrun mentioned in the project
finance report. After all, the new website really needed a new logo. This took another two weeks
and cost $1,000.

Recommendations and Lessons Learned
The business case should reflect the overall business strategy, address technology
resources and risks, and address financial issues.
Projects typically need to use proven technology. If you need to use unproven
technology, this should be reflected in an increased risk management process.
From a skilled and experienced governance and management perspective, it is
imperative that the project be properly resourced.
Proper forms of contract should only be signed if the agency is confident that it has
addressed and resolved all relevant issues, including technology, resources, and risks.
A comprehensive quality and risk management process must be in place.
The appointment of key personnel is important, and the appointment process needs
attention.
Disputes or disputes that adversely affect the project should be addressed in a prompt
and effective manner.
Projects need rigorous and effective management to maximize their chances of
success.
Governments need to define structures and roles for approval and oversight of large IT
projects.
Approval and oversight structures should provide resources so that government
expectations can be met effectively.

The website has been published. All staff had very positive feedback on the look and content of
the website. The feedback also referred to the accessibility and user-friendliness of the website.
The website designers were very professional and easy to handle, even if there was a stress of
not having meetings when needed. We don't have a budget for this, so we had to postpone the
training at this time. This is an urgent need to be considered to ensure that the relevant staff
knows how to make changes to their website and blog. All documentation is located in the
Project – Website folder as part of the intranet.
This project started with a meeting with website developers and discussed the website
overview. More meetings were held to confirm the briefs. After all, the new website really
needed a new logo. This took another two weeks and cost $1,000.
I attached the project evaluation report to this email. The report describes the project's
performance against the project objectives and recommendations and lessons learned in the
project timeline.
Kinds regard,
Hemang Malla
Project Manager
