Requires Respondus LockDown Browser + Webcam
Score: 28 points (10%); 1 hour long
In this assessment, you will demonstrate your ability to paraphrase content from course
readings covered in class by using appropriate
APA 7th edition in-text citation
.
The test has
two
parts:
In Part A
(Multiple Select), there are
five questions
in total. Part A is worth 20
points. Each question contains a
faulty paraphrase
with
several
errors in its in-text
citation (e.g., author’s reference, page/paragraph number, end punctuation, date of
publication). You are required to identify
ALL the errors
in APA style 7th edition
in-text citation.
In Part B
(Written Response), there are two questions. Part A is worth 8 points.
Each question is worth 4 points. Each question includes an excerpt from one of the
readings we have covered in class. You are required to
type the paraphrase of the
excerpt provided along with the appropriate APA 7th edition in-text citation.
The faulty APA in-text citation is based on the reading “My Canada” by
John Smith (published in 2005). It can be found on pages 5-8 of the
course textbook. The paraphrased material comes from the information
published on page 8 in paragraph 3. Identify ALL the in-text citation
errors so that it follows APA style.
