Running head: HOMEWORK 4 Chapter 7-Task 1 Assumptions The addressed Software together with the internal software and parts of the software’s required will cost about $5000 each that it totals to about 10000$. Software testing is also required since it is estimated to cost about $2200 and the business plan to cost about 1100$. Furthermore, the travel costs are also estimated at a total of $2500 in a trip. Both the hotel and accommodation is also estimated to not exceed $1000 as the car hire is expected to be cost $500. The estimated number of trips is 10 and is also designed to ensure that the groups receive regular updates with anything needed in face to face events organized.
HOMEWORK 4 Chapter 7 Task 2 Chapter 7-Task 3 Chapter 7 – Task 3: - Assume that you have completed three months of the project. The BAC was$130,000 for this six-month project. You can also make the following assumptions: PV = $60,000 EV = $55,000 AC = $50,000 a. What is the cost variance, schedule variance, cost performance index (CPI), and schedule performance index (SPI) for the project? Planned value=$60,000 Earned value=$55,000 Actual cost=$50,000 Cost variance =CV=EV-AC CV=$55000-50000=$5000
HOMEWORK 4 Schedule variance= SV=EV-PV SV=55,000-$60,000=-$5000 Cost performance index (CPI) = CPI=EV/AC CPI=$55,000/$50,000=1.1 Schedule performance index (SPI): SPI=EV/PV SPI=$55,000/$60,000=0.92 b. How is the project doing? Is it ahead of schedule or behind schedule? Is it under budget or over budget? The project I will costs$50,000. This project is $5000 behind schedule and it under budget by $5000. c. Use the CPI to calculate the estimate at completion (EAC) for this project. Is the project performing better or worse than planned? Estimate at completion (EAC) Estimate to complete (ETC) Cost performance index (CPI) = CPI=EV/AC CPI=$55,000/$50,000=1.1 Estimate to complete (ETC) = (BAC-EV)/CPI ($120000-55000)/1.1 = 59,090.91 Estimate at completion (EAC) = AC+ETC EAC=50000+59090.91=109090.91

HOMEWORK 4 d. Use the SPI to estimate how long it will take to finish this project. Schedule performance index (SPI) = SPI=EV/PV SPI 55000/60000=0.917 Estimate time to complete = Original time estimate/Schedule performance index = 6/SPI = 6/0.917 = 6.543 = 6-6.543=-0.543 The project was schedule for completion in 6 months but will overrun by 0.543 month. Chapter 8-Task 1 Standards Standards Explanation Simplicity The website appearance is largely regarded as the most important aspect and the piece of information rendered needs to be found by the users easily. Additionally, the website must be effectively designed as simple as possible and to be understood by the individual users without any difficult experience. Simplicity The website appearance is largely regarded as the most important aspect and the piece of information rendered needs to be found by the users easily. Additionally, the website must be effectively designed as simple as possible and to be understood by the individual users without any difficult experience. Conversion Optimized The required content will be availed in English for various websites
HOMEWORK 4 as the global treps website must be equally available for all kinds of persons. Moreover, the conversion of the message mostly relies on the destination together with the content to be converted into other languages on the basis of the requirement to the users. Accessibility The persons who mostly lack experience in browsing and those with disabilities in equal measure must have the ability to use the website with the main goal of this website creation. Chatbot The visitors to the web can interact with the chatbot and conversationally, the interaction will be affected. The different forms of queries of the visitors can be clarified through interacting with the chatbot and for every query by the visitor, the response will be programmed as expected. Downtime The website should not exhibit any down time since it needs to be frequently available to individual users. Website loading should be quickly performed. Chapter 8-Task 2 Feature Measurement Simplicity The website is also designed as simple and every individual can effectively understand the features of the website. Hence, the registration of people can be effectively conducted easily without difficulties due its simplicity. Accessibility The exhibited website can be accessed by people with disabilities as well and by most people who are not having any
HOMEWORK 4 browsing experiences. It is also successful as there are over two registrations from the disabled persons. Chatbot The existence of the Chabot is mostly conducted by many individuals and most people seem to clarify their queries with such application. Downtime The website downtime is perceived as low and many people visit the website each day. There further exists many successful registrations on daily basis and the downtime of the website is not largely affecting the visitors in the website. Conversion Optimized The different features of the conversion and optimization process seem significantly helpful for the user and it is also remains useful to undergraduates. There also exist about over 8 successful registrations by such undergraduates every day and the feature seems helpful to such people.
