Essay: Closing project activities
Properly closing a project is as important as initiating and executing it. Write an essay that provides a
comprehensive guide on how to effectively close a project, ensuring that all necessary tasks are
completed, stakeholders are satisfied, and lessons learned are captured for future endeavors.
Please read Lesson 15 and watch “Project Management: Project Closure” which will assist you in
writing your paper.
Your paper will consist of the following “Headers” on your paper:
Introduction
Project Scope (one paragraph on what “specifically” occurred in the project)
Project Accomplishments (a list of five accomplishments of the project that stakeholders
should be proud of in complete sentences. Also include why they are accomplishments)
Lessons Learned (a list of five lessons learned in complete sentences. Also include why they
are lessons learned)
Note 1:
The topic of your paper must be on the title page. The headers should be bolded on your
paper. Sections should not be combined.
Note 2:
This is not an outline and should be a written paper.
Note 3:
No abstract or table of contents.
After you have read the required readings and course material, ensure you answer the question(s)
above using the following guidelines:
Paper:
Your paper must be written in New Times Roman, 12 pitch font. Your paper must
include a Title Page in APA 7 format. I am looking at content and logical flow.
APA:
No references for this assignment. Must be original work. Points will be deducted if
citations and references are used.
Grammar/Punctuation:
Papers will be checked for grammar and punctuation errors. Three
or more types of errors will cause deductions.
Plagiarism/TurnItIn & AI Score:
There will be zero tolerance to plagiarism. Plagiarism is the
taking of someone’s else work and attempted to making it your own. Your Turnitin Score
should be less than 20%. Points will be deduced for a TurnItIn Score of 21-25%. Papers will
receive a zero (0) for 26% or higher. An AI Score 20% or higher will receive a zero (0) for the
assignment.
