Pierre Theodore Roosevelt (Teddy) Theodore Roosevelt Jr was born on October 27, 1858 In New York, sadly passed away in January 6, 1919, he was the 26 th president in the United States during his life time teddy was in to a lot of things, he was an American politician, Stateman, Soldier, conservationist, naturalist, historian, a writer he even won the Nobel peace prize for mediating the Russo -Japanese war When teddy’s father passed away in 1900’s he left Teddy a small inheritance but most of his father’s goods went to teddy’s mom. Growing up teddy was always a sickly child afflicted with asthma. Teddy decided to work on himself so he undertook a program of gymnastics and weight- lifting, which helped him develop his physique. As a young boy teddy was tutored at home by private teachers, he Traveled widely through Europe and the middle east with his family during the late 1860’s and 1876, Teddy entered into Harvard college where he studied a variety of subject including German, nature history, zoology, forensics, and composition, He also continued his Physical endeavors, taking on boxing and wrestling as a new pursuit.

During college teddy fell in love with a girl name Alice Hathaway, a young woman f rom a prominent New England banking family he met through a friend at Harvard. They got married in October 1880. In February 12 th Alice give birth to a daughter name Alice lee, two days later things started going bad for teddy, His mom passed away of typhoid fever, within a few hours his wife passed away cause of heart disease in the same house. In the next few months teddy threw himself in to political he left his daughter in his sister’s hands. Teddy ended up finding his childhood sweetheart Edith Kermit Carow. The two ended up getting married in England in 1886 and moved to Oyster Bay, New York in additional to raising Teddy’s first child he and Edith had 5 children. After returning to New York, he continued his career. In 1899 he was elected governor of New York which he didn’t even want. He began breaking up monopolies and trust earning him the nickname “trust Buster “Teddy was also a huge supporter of women Suffrage and in 1899 he became vice president. After teddy became president in 1901, he established 150 nature forest, 51 federal bird reserve, 4 national game

preserves, 5 national park and 18 national monuments on over 230 million acres of public land.
