STI/STD Testing
Necessities and Health Considerations
•
The possibility of being judged or discriminated against may deter an individual from undergoing STI/STD screening.
•
A member of the LQBTQIA+ community may be preferable when seeking care for sexual health issues.
•
Low priority placed on sexual health in LGBQIA+ communities, which may discourage people from getting tested for STDs and STIs.
