National Health issue/ Stressors and its impact on the work setting The national healthcare issue that I have selected for analysis is the increasing complexity of care and increasing demand that is associated with mental stress due to overwork among healthcare professionals (Amalberti et al., 2019). It impacts the healthcare setting in several ways. Increasing workload causes stress among healthcare workers that leads to extreme burnout, leading to human errors and dissatisfaction in the work. Reduction in the quality and safety of patients resulting in adverse events thus contributing to poor health outcomes. These events challenge the existing models and the structure of healthcare delivery, which requires innovation adaptation, and transformation. The social determinants that might affect the health issue The social determinants that may affect the health issue are the socioeconomic status of the population. It influences access to healthcare, health behaviors, health literacy issues and outcomes. People belonging to the lower socioeconomic status, are more prone to develop chronic conditions due to the inability to access care conditions, poorer outcomes, increased demand and the complexities of care leading to a greater healthcare burden which is also associated with the health literacy problem. The health system work setting in response to the healthcare issue and implementation of changes A person-centered approach includes the perspectives of the patient and the family members engaging in the decision-making tailoring care to individual preferences and values and coordinating care across the setting and the providers. Development of learning health system culture which involves usage of the latest data and evidence for continuous monitoring to evaluate to improve the quality and safety of care. This will help in introducing the most recent advancements in culture, learning and benefits through the latest evidence-based intervention. Personalized stress monitoring AI system is much needed by healthcare professionals, the use of sensors and machine learning algorithms helps in analyzing the physiological and psychological stress levels among workers (Bangani et al., 2021). This step helps in providing feedback and recommending interventions to improve the quality of life. The changes will have a positive impact o deal better with combating the challenges associated with the patient outcome. Some possible potential challenges may include the lack of resources and modern infrastructure with advanced technological support. The resistance and skepticism of some stakeholders to adopt these changes due to cultural, ethical, and legal concerns may need to be in consideration. The uncertainty and the variability of the effects and impact of these changes due to the dynamic and complex nature of the healthcare system is a crucial barrier that might need to be overcome.
