Explain how each of the claims on the side panel of this label can impact health in the body. a. Pomegranate—it protects body from type 2 diabetes and obesity, it helps in improving gut help and digestion. b. Apples—apples are good for heart, and they help in weight loss c. Low sodium—it helps in lowering the blood pressure when it helps those with hypertension. d. Whole grain—it lowers the risk of hear diseases and obesity. 2. How might the organic claims made by this product benefit the health of the body in the long term? a. All the claims that are given on the side of the granola package are good for the heart. They are all involved in preventing the bad cholesterol formation which is good for health. 3. Why is the amount of cholesterol in this product listed as 0 percent?
Shay Jackson a. The cholesterol content is zero because all the claims given are natural eatables that contain less amounts of cholesterol. 4. What are the sources of saturated fat in this product? a. This product is used with milk so the saturated fat would come from the milk. 5. Health benefits a. Why are lower intakes of saturated fat important to maintain the health of the body? i. High intake of saturated fats causes high risk to the heart as they form bad cholesterol in our body. This product having less saturated fat makes it so there is a lower chance of have health issues. b. What are the benefits for the cardiovascular system? i. The benefits for cardiovascular system are the granola provides high nutrition that does not increase LDL levels which are bad cholesterol that causes cardiovascular diseases, so there is no chance of affecting with cardiovascular diseases. c. Are there any other benefits? i. Other benefits are vegetables which are also ingredients of granola. Vegetables give all vitamins and they protect skin as well as, increase blood levels.

What conditions can be prevented by adequate fiber intake? i. By adequate fiber intake, the problems related to constipation and irregular bowel movements can be prevented. d. Sources of calcium are milk, and different types of cheese. f. What health conditions can adequate calcium levels possibly prevent? i.
