WEB ASSIGNMENT - WOMEN IN THE WORKPLACE

Describe the articles and what new things did you learn from them?
I learned that they have a lot to do with womans inequality in terms of the workplace and healthcare. It also talks about how women of color are being faced with these issues. 2.
What are some strategies women can use when seeking greater equity opportunities in specific workplaces?
Women can Gain commitment from board members and senior executives, rethink systems, establish and execute flexible work arrangements, provide learning and development opportunities. Another thing they can do is help managers develop talent through coaching and mentoring.

Have you or someone you know faced inequity as a female in the workplace? I have faced inequity as a female in the workplace. I have experienced being let go because I was not working as a fast as my male counterparts. 4.
What were the circumstances and was anything done about it?
The circumstances were that I was not loading my amazon truck with packages fast enough. Some of the packages were so heavy and I needed help to get them loaded and the only thing they did was fire me.
