Experiment: PSCA Cycle I
Leader: Luckens Denis
PLAN: What can we try
next?
PLAN: What do we expect
will happen?
DO
CHECK: What happened vs what
we expected?
ACT: What did we learn, next
steps?
Brush teeth while waiting for
the shower to warm up
This should eliminate wasting
time and reduce how long I
spend in the shower
DO YOUR EXPERIMENT !!!
I reduced shower time from an
average of 10 minutes to 5 minutes
Completing a task with another one
reduces the total time of a step in the
process and allows me to dedicate
the saved-up time doing something
else, such as picking out my work
outfit
Maintaining a strong balance
between work and home
Giving due time and attention
for both work and personal
family time
I had time to purchase vegetables
for breakfast and lunch for next day.
I already aligned what I had to wear
the next day etc.
I learnt proper planning and art of
scheduling activities
Sleeping on time
Proper amount of sleep is
necessary to get up timely in
the morning and still remain
fresh
Setting a sleep scheduled helped me
to focus on getting sound sleep
Focusing on discipline and how it
can help in long-run
Getting-up on time
Entire day begins with how and
when I wake up. So, if I wake
up on or before time it can help
me streamline all the activities
I got up all refreshed in the morning
I learnt art of streamlining entire day

Lessons Learned
1.
In this lesson I learned that writing things done help keep them organized! I created a new morning routine that will help me save as much time
as possible in the morning! So that I can start off my day right every day and everything gets completed! It’s important to have a good routine
every day so that, you aren’t late for anything you may have planned!
2.
In this lesson I learned that it is important to have structure. Going according to the schedule and well-mannered ways help keep us healthy and
well. Making such type of Template for our schedule, we don’t miss anything. Moreover, we do everything on time. Such activity makes us
punctual, and we become habitual of things.
3.
The stakeholders have determined that in order for a revised morning routine to be successful, all stakeholders must work together to implement
it and parent stakeholders must provide additional follow-up. We know that improving the morning routine will involve a number of procedures
after learning the information from the waste audit process. Mom and Dad of the stakeholder recognize the modifications that must be done and
the actions that must be taken after reviewing the morning routine from the previous day. It's critical that we become more conscious of the extra
steps we take each day that lengthen our morning routine. Steps that are not required will add stress to the morning routine and waste each
stakeholder's already restricted time. Mom and Dad of the stakeholder recognize the modifications that must be done and the actions that must
be taken after reviewing the morning routine from the previous day. It's critical that we become more conscious of the extra steps we take each
day that lengthen our morning routine. Steps that are not required will squander everyone's time, which is already restricted, and complicate the
morning routine. The participants in the morning routine can work together to improve their habits over time for a more productive and less
stressful morning for everyone.
4.
The lesson learned in this assignment is that it gave me new perspective on life. I felt a little ashamed when I realized how much time I squander
between pressing the snooze button and visiting Dunkin' Doughnuts. I'm going to make myself more coffee at home to make up for this time
that was wasted. I can carry it on my commute to work in this manner. I can complete the coffee-making procedure each day in the time I spend
doing it at home. I will save even more time during my morning ritual if I set the coffee to boil the night before. The steps I've suggested will
only help me handle the other major source of morning waste, which is pressing the snooze button as my alarm goes off. Now that my alarm
could be adjusted for at least 20 minutes later, I could get an extra 20 minutes of sleep and avoid staying I bed longer than necessary.
5.
The lesson learned is that it is important to plan things out. I made a couple of recommendations to myself on how I can do that better and live
an easier life! I didn’t realize how much time I was wasting until I sat down and wrote it all down. It’s important to live a balanced healthy life
that consists of organized things!
6.
The lessons that I have learned from the standard work portion of the A3 document is that I don’t always take the same route from one step to
another in my morning routine. When breaking down my process further, following the standard work while in my home will ensure that I am
out the door on time to continue with my morning process. I have used the PCDA cycle to eliminate waste when first getting up in the morning
and used the countermeasure of moving my alarm clock out of my reach to ensure that I must get out of bed when it goes off.
7.
Process improvement is an ongoing undertaking that can help practically everything. My husband and I are committed to optimizing our lives
through process improvement. This procedure helped my husband or Dad realize how much mum is accountable for and made him feel more
obligated to always help with Luckens in the mornings.
Summary
Overall, the lesson I learned throughout the whole class is that t is important to plan things out! Planning helps save time and gives us a chance
to live a stress-free life filled with nothing but things that are easy to understand! This is especially important in business. Due to the fact, that in
order for businesses to run and grow they must have balance in order so that things don’t fall apart. Furthermore, I learned a lot of valuable life
lessons that will help guide me for the rest of my life, especially when I want to start my one business!
