Share your professional opinion on what you feel about The Hippocratic
Oath/Physician’s Creed in regards to the Ethics Grey Anatomy.
My opinion on the Hippocratic Oath/Physician's Creed is that they broke all ethical,
moral, and professional codes in the medical field. I get that a little boy needs organs to
live, but the inmate should still be able to make decision on whether he wants to live or
die. Because at the end of the day he deserves to be treated with respect, and that was
not what he got in this clip. Also, Meredith, was only concerned about her needs and
discussed them in front of a patient without caring or thinking how it would affect him.
There is a professional and respectful way to go about it and she did not do that in the
slightest. This is example right here is why some people are afraid to trust doctors
unless they have no choice. She could have gone about this a whole different way no
matter the circumstances of other patients.
