Report
This is picture is Pyroclastic Flow from The Sinabung Volcano Eruption. There were reports which spanned 12/21/2013 through the end of January 2014 which told of the rise and fall of this volcano. Increased seismic activity started the magma and lava reactions within the volcano. As things progressed what is most interesting about this volcano is it had over 100 pyroclastic flows from the different stages of where the volcano was. The flows were created by the collapsing of the lava domes. Citations Global Volcanism Program, 2014. This is a picture of the Momotombo Volcano and its first sighted eruption in 110 years. Momotombo is a symmetrical stratovolcano and has erupted before in the past. What caused this eruption was the build up of gas in high concentrations within the magma. As the rise of the magma occurs, gas is released and the building pressure beneath the volcano builds until it caused this eruption. You can see gas, ash, and lava being released in this photo.
