Report
1 October 29, 2023 "Africa: Challenges in the 21st Century" These challenges include poverty, access to education and healthcare, political instability, and climate change. The documentary also outlines some potential solutions to these challenges, such as increased foreign investment, better infrastructure, and improved governance. Additionally, the documentary highlights the importance of African-led solutions to these challenges, as Africans are the best equipped to address them. African governments must also prioritize the implementation of sustainable policies and programs. Finally, the documentary emphasizes the need for global collaboration and partnership to address these challenges. African-led solutions to these challenges have been successful in many African countries, such as Senegal, Rwanda, and Ghana. African governments have been able to create and implement sustainable policies and programs, such as providing access to education and healthcare, that have had a positive impact on the citizens. Global collaboration and partnership have also been successful, as organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank have committed to investing in African-led solutions and providing support. Despite these successes, there is still more to be done to ensure that African nations can reach their full potential. One of the points that stood out to me was the lack of adequate infrastructure. This lack of infrastructure has resulted in a lack of access to healthcare, education, and other essential services, which has further hindered the economic development of Africa. This lack of infrastructure has also caused an increase in poverty, unemployment, and inequality. Additionally, it has resulted in a lack of access to basic services such as clean water, electricity, and sanitation. This has caused problems for public health and caused environmental disasters such as deforestation and air pollution. It has also hindered the development of renewable energy
2 sources, further contributing to climate change. Additionally, the mini doc highlighted the issue of poverty, which is a major barrier to economic development. Finally, it also highlighted the issue of corruption, which is a barrier to foreign investment and economic development. In conclusion, the mini doc highlighted some of the major issues facing developing countries, and the solutions necessary to overcome them in order to foster economic development.
