Why do you want to join Scholars of Finance? How will SOF contribute to your personal and/or professional development? (max 1000 characters or ~160 words I've been interested in Scholar of Finance for a long time, and I think SoF would provide me a great platform to explore my interests in Finance. Financial Markets have intrigued me for the fact that they are always changing. SoF fosters a community of like-minded individuals who work towards the same goal of building future leaders in finance. I'm particularly interested in the SoF because it possesses a huge network across the nation. This is something that stood out to me as no other finance club at IU possesses such a huge network. It would not only help me to build a network but break out of the Kelley bubble. Leadership is at the core of SoF, and it is a trait that can be acquired only through experience and putting myself in such situations where I can polish my leadership skills. I'm confident that I would be an asset to SoF as I am a hard worker and I believe that I am good team player, who can bring out the best version of myself in team environments.
Please take a look at our values . Which one or two values do you resonate the most with and why? (max 500 characters or ~80 words) Throughout my experience at IU, I can vouch that Integrity is something that has helped me build a personal brand and build a strong network with my peers. This quality of sticking to your morals and being honest to yourself has helped me in the times when I experienced failure or rejection in something as being honest to myself had helped me to accept my weakness and shortcomings and work on them. Moreover, abiding to my morals has kept me stay focused on my goals.
If you were to write a Wikipedia page about something, what would write about and why? (max 500 characters or ~80 words) I have been following Tennis passionately since my high school. Roger Federer is the GOAT of Tennis, and I can talk about him for hours as I have followed him religiously. I love him not only as a player but for his magnetic persona. He is someone who I look up to and learn from his experiences. The simplicity and genuineness in his character has made him stand out from his peers and kept him ahead of his competition. Thus, I would love to write a Wikipedia page about Roger Federer.
