Who -Compile the data on current users such as Age, Location, Language, and Interest on most visited sites/app/or 3 rd party vendors. What- Uncover User’s Motivations: Gain clarity on the factors driving internet users to choose Facebook over its competitors such as Instagram, or Snapchat. When-utilizing social analytics will help to determine when users of certain are most likely to be on social media. Why- determining when users are most likely to be on social media by age group will help determine why users prefer Facebook over other social media communication sites. Information about your selected business’s target market 1. User feedback is essential to the development of social media and surveying users is the least minimal way to disrupt users’ day while keeping the survey short and to the point. How- Break down your target market by age segment for surveying, utilizing a variety of software to help analyze results on user preference as it relates to data privacy/security. How- Social media analytics can determine which age group interacts the most between certain hours allowing survey results to be sent and analyzed immediately. When- Facebook is continuously active with users throughout the day, therefore, recording user behavior with the use of social media analytics will allow for daily survey results to be performed.
