The main characters in the opera are Kitty Oppenheimer and Dr. J. Robert Oppenheimer,
also known as Oppie. Then, the physicists were Edward Groves, Robert Wilson, General
Leslie Groves, and Captain James Nolan.
9. Summarize the plot below.
The opera is a summary consisting of an atomic bomb involved in the social dilemma
during the period of the explosion at the Alamogordo test site in New Mexico in July of
1945. This opera was a psychological horror story regarding how the main character, Oppie,
is plagued by moral dilemmas and is significantly affected by the incident of the first atomic
bomb.

The music was very intense during the entire opera. There wasn’t any period where the
music was settled at the beginning of the opera because of the intensity of the acts being
acted out against the community in Alamogordo, New Mexico. After the intense events, the
music began to settle but was still very stern and upbeat. The music was very seldom during
the opera and fit perfectly with the events that were taking place at the “Trinity” Test site.

This composer's style is very different from the other composers who play the piano and
are highly known. His style is very different from that of composers in America, and I
enjoy his unique style.
